More videos of RIM’s upcoming flip phone, the BlackBerry Style 9670, have cropped up online, and they appear to be tutorials for owners of the still-unannounced handset. Style-watchers are treated to a demo of the relatively-large external display, as well as a home screen demo and quick look at the use of trackpad for zooming with photos.
Although RIM has not revealed any official information about this model — which will reportedly run OS 6 and would follow another BlackBerry flip, the Pearl 8220 — many of its specs have leaked out over the past few months. Slides released by BGR indicated that the so-called Style will have a full QWERTY keyboard, 360 x 400 internal display, 240 x 320 external screen (which is the same resolution as the Pearl flip’s internal display), and a five megapixel camera.
So far, US Cellular is the only carrier to have teased that the 9670 will join its lineup, although Sprint and Verizon are also rumored to pick up the CDMA clamshell.
