There’s a new version of the YouTube application made by Google available in the Android Market and if you have a device powered by Android 2.2 Froyo or 2.3 Gingerbread you’ll want to update as soon as possible.
Phones powered by the aforementioned operating system versions will now be able to stream HD-quality videos, given you have a “capable device”. Reports indicate that the installation process — as well as the working HD streaming — is a hit or miss but you can check it out yourself by following the source link below.
