If you’ve got an LG Optimus S and you’ve been kicking yourself over the inability to do whatever you want with it, your suffering can now be over.

The first step in the path to freedom is rooting your phone, which you should be able to do with the z4root app, but if you can’t find it, or would rather go through all the steps the old fashioned way, this forum should help you out.

Once rooted you can flash a custom recovery image and then flash a custom ROM.

The first custom ROM for the Optimus S is ThundeROM V1.
