Sony Ericsson is rumored to have an Android 2.3 Gingerbread flagship device in the works which, according to hear-say, would be either called by its codename “Anzu” or will receive a number in the Xperia X line, namely the Xperia X12.
We don’t know much at the moment except for the fact that despite its rumored huge 4.3-inch display, it will be a rather thin one (makes you wonder about the battery capacity) as well as HDMI output. Don’t let the picture fool you, it’s running Android 2.1 at the moment but it is rumored to ship with Google’s latest mobile operating system, Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
Engadget is also involving its sources and according to those, the mysterious Anzu might be part of the even more mysterious Z-System (remeber the PlayStation phone?). Anyone else notice something weird about the buttons?
