Remember the old days when Winamp was your default media player and then later media library on your Computer (still the choice of many today)? Well, Winamp finally made its way to Android and is now available in the Market as a Beta for free and it’s got some llama ass whippin’ features!
Besides syncing with your Computer’s Winamp via USB or WiFi, it features a nice Lock screen widget plus all the other features you’d be expecting from Winamp, such as adding files to a playlist by enqueueing, widget support, persistent audio playback controls, playlist shortcuts and according to the cited source’s hands-on, very fluid interface plus headset button integration. If you’ve always been a fan of Winamp since the old days and want to try out the new Android version (Android 2.1 Eclair or up required), leave us a comment with your thoughts on the application.
