Mango’s been released, the iPhone 4S is here; what’s an Android fan gotta do to get some love of his own? Some of the biggest announcements expected from the Android world are on their way this week, but what’s going down, when?

First up, Motorola’s got an announcement for tomorrow, and despite being a little coy, it’s pretty darn clear it intends to announce the Droid RAZR on Verizon. We have high expectations for the phone, reviving the iconic RAZR brand, thanks to its expected 1.2GHz dual-core processor, LTE radio, and possible NFC support. The event is scheduled for 12:00 noon in New York City, and we’ll be reporting on any announcements as soon as they’re made.

The really big news, though, will have to wait a few more hours. That’s because Samsung and Google’s rescheduled Ice Cream Sandwich event is now taking place on October 19 in Hong Kong. With the time differences, and Hong Kong across the International Date Line from many of us, what would be 9:30 a.m. in Hong Kong will actually fall the day before. That means things will be getting started on Tuesday night at 9:30 p.m. on the east coast, or 6:30 out west. In addition to the formal announcement of Android 4.0, we can also look forward to the debut of the Samsung-made Nexus Prime, likely coming to Verizon in the States as the Galaxy Nexus.
