HTC releases so many phones these days that its regular trademark filings are hardly worth mentioning anymore — but when a potential branding like HTC Supreme passes our desk, we definitely take note. The prolific manufacturer (possibly working on a Facebook-branded phone, we hear) just put Supreme up for protection in Europe, meaning that this would likely be one of its global releases.
With a name like Supreme, we have to immediately think flagship — and that, of course, brings to mind the HTC Edge (to be clear, the supposed HTC Zeta was actually a hoax). Edge is rumored to be a 1.5GHz quad-core handset with a 4.7-inch 720p screen that is said to rival the Retina Display found on the iPhone. There are, of course, several other possible devices to which Supreme could be attached (Quattro? Ville? Other?), but right now our money is on the Edge.
