Dolphin Browser HD is one of my favorite alternate browser apps for Android. Over the last several months they’ve been working on a fairly substantial upgrade that’s just been released as a public beta.

Dolphin Browser HD version 5.0 Beta 1 includes:

- UI changes

- New style for “Speed Dial” links

- Powerful bookmarks sidebar (with sub-folders)

- Faster browsing experience and more stable performance

We decided to take it for a test drive and are pretty impressed with what we saw!
