If you have an Android smartphone on Verizon Wireless, you’re most probably familiar with VZ Navigator and you’ll be happy to find out the carrier is preparing to launch an improved software refresh.
VZ Navigator VX will bring Real Views as well as 3D Cities, real highway signs and views to the Motorola Droid X, Samsung Fascinate and HTC Incredible, with other devices being added later in 2011. Other cool features include Satellite View, Smart Traffic, as well as SmartStart Enhanced and according to rumors, the price will be the same as with the older version: $9.99 per month. Let us know of your thoughts and whether you think it is worth to pay a monthly fee for such a software when Google Maps is free.
