According to rumors, Virgin Mobile’s Samsung Intercept should have been updated to Google Android 2.2 before April but, even if a couple of weeks late, the smartphone just got its Froyo treat according to reports.
The update arrives over-the-air, in phases as it rolls out, and after successfull installation you’ll be greeted with a vanilla flavor of Android — yes, no more Wiz UI. Besides that, it’s your typical Froyo with all the goodies coming from a lower platform version to make your QWERTY-enabled 800MHz Intercept feel a little bit snappier. Let us know what else is there if you’re on Virgin Mobile with an Intercept and just updated!
