Coinciding with earlier rumors about the HTC Trophy’s rumored release date, we now have another report of a possible March 24 release. The info also corroborates a rumored March 17 release for the HTC Thunderbolt. This also puts the expected release just around the corner from the Sprint HTC Arrive, another CDMA WP7 device.
The HTC Trophy is a CDMA/GSM global phone, supporting both network types and utilizing a SIM card for operation. It is expected to debut with Windows Phone 7′s NoDo build. The device features a five-megapixel camera, 512MB of RAM, and 16GB of storage, which places it right in the middle of all of the WP7 launch devices, offering no major extras above the base chassis. The Trophy’s main selling point is that it is a quad-band global phone allowing it to operate on the majority of networks worldwide, making it an excellent travelers companion.
