Like the Higgs Boson and sasquatch, a confirmed release date for the Galaxy Nexus in the US remains elusive. We’ve been trying to keep on top of rumors surrounding the phone’s release, and the last indication we saw was a leak that suggested availability starting on November 21. Today’s contribution to the effort doesn’t do anything to help confirm any specific date, but definitely suggests the launch window is approaching.
A leaked screenshot from Verizon’s computers shows that the carrier has started getting ready for the Nexus by starting to train its employees on the smartphone. In addition to the Galaxy Nexus-specific instruction they’ll receive in its training video, there’s a separate separate online initiative to familiarize employees with Ice Cream Sandwich in general; for now though, that’s just going to amount to additional Nexus training.
What do you think? Are we really just down to being about a week away from the phone’s US release, or will circumstances see the Galaxy Nexus delayed even further?
