Best Buy has been very active in terms of Verizon HTC Thunderbolt rumors — the latest one being the launch delay to March 4, which obviously didn’t happen — but this time it uncovers pricing, not the availability, in its Mobile Phone Buyer’s Guide for March.
According to the digital copy, the long waited smartphone will go for $299.99 on a two-year contract — which is even more than the $249.99 we heard back in February — and a regular price of $749.99 upfront. We find the price to be huge even compared to the $199.99 for the Motorola Atrix 4G, not to mention $99.99 for the HTC Inspire 4G. Being basically your LTE-enabled Desire HD, we expect the Thunderbolt to be available this week, given all the recent heat. Will you go for it and pay $299.99?
