Earlier it was pretty clear that the Samsung Continuum Galaxy S device would be on Verizon store shelves in just a few days, and now it’s crystal clear: Samsung has confirmed it via Twitter.

Could this be the device to usher in an era of secondary ticker-style displays on smarpthones? Samsung is right that we have yet to see this feature, mainly because battery life and display technology wasn’t up to par in the past. If the Continuum’s secondary display is highly useful without compromising battery life, the secondary ticker display may find its way onto many other devices in the future.
