Verizon put out, as they usually do with noteworthy upcoming phones, a competitive comparison sheet for the Galaxy Nexus. Of course they could have easily mentioned that it is the only Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich device from the list but the carrier also threw in the “no OEM customization” criteria in the user interface category.

Of course, several UIs on Android phones are meant to enrich the Android experience, such as HTC’s sense, Samsung’s TouchWiz or LG’s own custom user interface. The Galaxy Nexus is, of course, a “pure-Android” phone from the already well-known pure Nexus line, but it’s good to know that carriers are aware and promoting this. “No OEM customization” doesn’t necessarily mean “no carrier customization” as we’ve recently heard of a couple of Verizon apps coming pre-installed on the phone. Luckily there’s an easy way to get rid of them.

As a reminder, the recently spotted — and alleged — Verizon ad puts the Galaxy Nexus in the $199.99 range which will definitely be a good price given that the table above seems to re-confirm 32GB Internal Storage.
