Are you a fan of American Football? Also happen to be a Verizon subscriber? And you say Androids are your smartphone of choice? If you’ve been sitting there nodding in agreement, we’ve got a deal you should check out this weekend, with Verizon offering Madden NFL 12 by Electronic Arts for free to some customers.
The offer kicks-off (no pun intended) at midnight tonight and runs through the end of Monday. If you have a qualifying phone, you’ll be able to request a free download link for the app or snag it directly through Verizon’s Media Store. The problem is, we’re not entirely sure which Android smartphones qualify for the offer, and Verizon offered only a short list of included models. If you’ve got a Droid Charge, Droid Incredible 2, Droid X, or a Revolution, you’re definitely covered. If you’ve got another Android, you’re guess is as good as ours. To see if the deal is working for you, you can dial “**madden” to request a link to the free download.
Madden NFL 12 has three-and-a-half stars in the Android Market and normally sells for $7.
