The waiting is over for those that were longing for CyanogenMod 7.2 for their Verizon Motorola Droid X2 devices. Even though last October brought an update with several fixes, it’s nothing like the good old CyanogenMod.
If you are interested in getting this ROM you should know that it is fully AOSP based with no Blur. There’s theme support, Incognito Mode in the browser, customizable lockscreen with gestures, modified pull-down toggles, “swipe-away” notifications and more. The installation process is a bit long and tricky (and of course, comes with the usual word-of-warning) but if you’re determined to have it installed, follow the source link for details, instructions as well as feedback.
