Motorola is planning a Droid 3 soak test as phone owners received notification of an upcoming soak test to try out the update with a limited number of users. Up on Verizon’s website, the update details are published which usually is a good indication of things to come (soon).
The update will be 5.6.890.XT862.Verizon.en.US and will include numerous fixes and improvements in the following categories: call features, e-mail and messaging, applications and widgets, as well as additional features. The most notable among the above is the addition of the long-waited Google Talk with Video. For the complete list of changes, follow the source link below and don’t forget that once these details are published, the soak test should soon begin and hopefully Verizon can meet that “September” time-frame for the update itself.
