Samsung’s got something big planned for CTIA next week, and the expectations are running high that we’ll finally get a look at the Nexus Prime in all its Ice Cream Sandwich glory. Assuming that actually goes down, and Samsung debuts the handset, when might we hope for it to hit the carriers? There’s a new email leak out of Verizon that suggests big red could have the phone by October 27.

All we have is the text of the message, not even a screenshot (not that someone couldn’t just-as-easily fake a screenshot), so get your skeptic helmet on. Supposedly the list advises Verizon employees when they can expect some upcoming devices to arrive, and the final entry is for the “Samsung Prime” on October 27, arriving to replace the Samsung Charge. It’s worth nothing that not all the other dates mentioned in the leak match current estimates for the release dates of upcoming Verizon hardware, but that’s possibly due to some not being fully locked-in yet.

We’ve also heard a rumor that the Prime, however it ends up being named, would come to Verizon on November 3. Even if we’re still looking for confirmation on any one of these dates being accurate, it’s starting to seem quite likely that the Android 4.0 phone could arrive right around that October-November cusp.
