Last week, just as we were waiting to hear the announcements of Motorola’s Droid RAZR and Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus, a leak revealed some release dates for upcoming Verizon handsets, including both those models and the HTC Rezound. We were hoping for confirmation of the November 10 date for those phones from at least one of their launch events, but it did not come. While we still await official new of their retail availability, a new leaked Verizon screenshot shows the HTC and Samsung still on-track for a November 10 arrival.
According to the screenshot, taken from Verizon’s internal computer system showing minimum advertised price data, the Droid RAZR will available starting this Thursday, October 27. We had previously heard this date for the RAZR, but as the start of pre-orders, with the smartphone not actually showing up until next month. There’s nothing directly suggesting it here, but if that’s what’s happening with the RAZR, those November 10 dates for the Galaxy Nexus and Rezound might possibly also indicate the beginning of pre-orders, instead of actual retail availability.
This information reflects the MAP data we saw earlier this month, but the list of devices is a bit more complete here, and the contextual setting of this screenshot lends it some added authenticity.
Are you convinced yet that Verizon will get the Galaxy Nexus on November 10, or are you waiting to see something along the lines of a leaked advertisement first?
