Just after we’ve seen the official press renders for the Samsung-made Verizon Google Galaxy Nexus — and following up on our recent review of the International GSM variant of the phone — we are lucky to meet the American version in person in this video.
The video below contains approximately two minutes of footage starring the Galaxy Nexus which is believed to land on Verizon, according to rumors, on December 8 (or so). You can see the front, back and sides of the phone, the battery under the cover and the boot-up sequence which is pretty much identical to what we’ve seen on the International model.
Aside from the fact that the Verizon version is a little bit thicker than the GSM variant — because of the added LTE radio support and larger battery — the phone is identical to its European twin, give or take the 32GB of Internal Storage advertised. Oh, and according to reports, the Verizon flavor got an Android 4.0.2 update and it’s possible it will ship with that out-of-the-box.
