Yesterday, a rumor out of England suggested that Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus would go on-sale as scheduled in Europe on November 17, but that its arrival in the States wouldn’t be coming until after-the-fact. Though this news apparently came from a Samsung representative, a lack of confirmation had us still holding-out hope that it might be off-base. Some leaked Verizon advertising info now paints a picture that backs-up yesterday’s claim, showing the Galaxy Nexus not arriving until after Black Friday.
The materials show Verizon gearing-up for Black Friday sales by promoting the iPhone 4S, Droid RAZR, and HTC Rezound. The Galaxy Nexus isn’t marked as joining the party until the Monday after Black Friday, November 28, where the phone’s labeled as being a part of Samsung’s portfolio of devices that will be featured for holiday season promotions.
What do you think, would adding another two weeks onto the expected wait for the Galaxy Nexus be a bearable delay, or will you be anxiously crossing the days off your calendar as they pass?
