The first pics of an HTC Incredible S sporting Verizon branding as the Droid Incredible 2 popped up over the weekend, and now there’s some code to go along with the images we saw. A user on the Android Central forums has extracted the smartphone’s files and just posted a system dump to the site.

You’ll find a standard assortment of Verizon apps, including Skype, as part of the default installation. Probably the most interesting bits are the media included in the dump, like the phone’s bootup animation, wallpaper selection, and built-in ringtones. These files have all been extracted and are available separately, so you’re not downloading the full 282MB collection.

Last week we took a look at the carrier-unlocked Incredible S and were underwhelmed with what the phone delivered. Sense was great, the Super LCD screen didn’t let us down, we loved the camera, and saw some blazing network performance. That said, there just aren’t enough changes from the first Incredible to really warrant a new model coming out. Incredible 1.5, maybe, but it didn’t feel like the evolutionary step its name implies. So, while you’ll probably want to wait and try this out on Verizon for yourself before committing to the phone, at least you have some wallpapers to enjoy in the meantime.
