We’re quite positive you remember the Verizon Casio G’zOne Commando, if not because of the ruggedized build, because of the name of the Android phone. It recently received its Gingerbread update and now Verizon is preparing yet another refresh.
The package contains Android security patches, improved user interaction with display while proximity sensor is activated as well as an updated clock widget. There are also some fixes for the e-mail application, improved keyboard input, Netflix compatibility as well as VZ Navigator 3D city downloads. The update should be available as an over-the-air refresh so make sure to check for that notification or manually verify its availability.
