No sooner did we take a look at Verizon’s latest comment on the ongoing state of Galaxy Nexus release rumors, then the carrier has gone ahead and finally made things official: sales of the LTE-enabled Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone begin tomorrow.
We’ve talked about this so many times, it almost feels anticlimactic for the news to finally arrive, but now the confirmations we’ve been looking for are at our doorstep. With a two-year service agreement, the Galaxy Nexus will cost Verizon customers just about $300. From what we’ve seen, though, you should be able to beat that price quite easily when going through one of the carrier’s retail partners.
If you’ve had your heart set on scoring one of these beauties, and would rather not go to sleep tonight with it still dominating your thoughts, you’ll be able to get in one of the first online orders for the phone by staying up until 1AM Eastern, when Verizon kicks things off.
And to think, we were almost starting to doubt all the signs pointing to tomorrow’s release!
