After an initial Gingerbread ROM for the Verizon Thunderbolt has been recently leaked — 2.11.605.2 — HTC confirmed the update is still a go for this month and it is already rolling out according to reports.

In order to receive the update — 2.11.605.3 — you’ll have to manually check for its existence if it hasn’t already been sent out to your phone. You do that from Settings, Software update and the procedure should start, just make sure you’re on WiFi for a faster (and cheaper) update experience.
