The Samsung Galaxy S is already available in many U.S. carrier variants running by the names like Verizon Fascinate, AT&T Captivate, T-Mobile Vibrant and Sprint Epic 4G. Telus seems to have opted for the Telus Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate 3G+ naming to go with their upcoming Galaxy S variant.
The Canadian carrier announced its Android 2.1-powered 3G+ smartphone sporting, just like the Verizon Fascinate, a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 512MB RAM, 16GB internal memory, 4-inch WVGA AMOLED display, 3G HSPA 850/1900/2100 MHz and Quad-Band GSM, WiFi b/g/n, DLNA capabilities and a 5-megapixel camera capable of 720p video capture. Telus website says “coming soon” with no exact release date nor pricing but we strongly believe it will hit the stores anytime before holidays.
