HTC may have a 16-megapixel-camera-equipped Windows Phone 7 in the works, but its current crop of handsets are proving that they can take a nice picture without nearly that high of a resolution, as evidenced by the first known photo posted by T-Mobile’s upcoming Sensation 4G. This particular image was captured by Brandon Hughes, Marketing Specialist at HTC, using Magenta’s variant of the flagship Sensation launched just last week. Mr Hughes let the camera open up to its full eight-megapixel resolution when he shot the University of Washington’s Husky Stadium in a twilight photo from this weekend.
Apparently T-Mobile will have a US exclusive on the dual-core, qHD handset, giving it quite the stable of multi-core devices with the LG G2x, and very likely some variety of the Samsung Galaxy S II. Europe, meanwhile, should see Sensation on a wide variety of operators throughout the continent, although we’ve heard that some national exclusives will exist there, as well.
