The T-Mobile Vibrant is one of the U.S. carrier versions of the popular Samsung Galaxy S and while the unbranded smartphone is getting Gingerbread — and source, the Vibrant has received a maintenance update.
Nothing major as with any maintenance updates, we have a couple of bug fixes as well as some updated applications. The GMail and YouTube apps have been refreshed to a newer version but there are also improvements regarding Email, Gallery, Swype, LCD framework and MMS in addition to ironing out the issue of non-playable DRM content. The update is available only via the KIES mini software for PC. For a complete list of changes as well as a walkthrough on how to update, hit the source link.
