The Motorola Defy rugged phone that’s water resistant and dust proof has not only received its Android 2.2 Froyo update on T-Mobile U.S.A. in April but there was also a lot of buzz around an official Android 2.3 Gingerbread leak in May.

According to a carrier tweet, “Android 2.2 (Froyo) will start rolling out at the start of July”. If you managed to stay stock and jealous of your fellow Defy owners across the pond, you’ll be getting your frozen yogurt as soon as next week.
