T-Mobile USA is in the negotiations with Huawei of China to bring the manufacturer’s Ideos Android 2.2 smartphone to the U.S. market. Huawei’s Ideos line of smartphone is intended as a mass market consumer Android smartphone with entry level specs; the device does have 3G but screen resolution is capped at QVGA. Reports of T-Mobile USA carrying the Ideos phone comes from Wall Street Journal naming an unnamed source. The Ideos phone was recently announced at the IFA show in Germany.
