Available since November 2010, the Motorola Defy isn’t particularly noteworthy for its speed, nor would you consider it a “high end” device. The Defy is, however, particularly rugged. It’s been able to withstand up to three-feet of water, works fine in a sandstorm, and can handle even the most clumsy user with ease. It’s all but drop-proof, and with its 3.5-inch gorilla glass touchscreen, it’s pretty scratch resistant as well.
The only thing missing has been the ability to root the little bugger — but not any more!
