T-Mobile has launched the LG Optimus 2X as the T-Mobile G2x bringing the 1GHz Tegra2 SOC to Magenta.
With no other release date in sight except the April 20 rumor which we hear earlier, we’ll stick with it for the moment. This even more so that the retail packaging of the upcoming T-Mobile dual-core smartphone has surfaced on the internet presented as a white box with the image of the device on it.
Being so, the April 20 date could be a plausible one for the launch and we could even see an earlier release now that everything looks to be on track. As a reminder, it should sport a 1GHz Tegra2 processor, 4-inch WVGA screen, 8GB of internal memory expandable with up to 32GB using the microSD card slot, eight-megapixel rear camera with 1080p recording capability, 1.3-megapixel front camera for self-portrait and video calling, HDMI mirroring, all powered by a 1,500mAh battery.
