Google Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread is bringing screenshot support as we told you at the beginning of March and phones running the latest build of the Google platform will be able to take advantage of the feature via applications utilizing the new feature.
According to IntoMobile, the T-Mobile G2x — that is the Magenta version of the LG Optimus 2X — is capable of taking screenshots right out of the box. The combination used to achieve this is very Apple iPhone-like: taking a screen grab is as easy as holding down the Power and the Home buttons. This is also valid for the LG Optimus 2X. Android users — rocking an Optimus 2x or variant — can now easily take pictures of their own screens without the need to root or install SDKs. We just hope every OEM will implement this! Microsoft, are you reading this?
