Just a little over a week left to go for the official launch of the T-Mobile G2 on October 6th and someone has already unboxed the device in photos. The 800 MHz Android smartphone will be the first smartphone to make use of T-Mobile’s upgraded HSPA+ network, which the carrier is claiming to deliver 4G speeds though it is still technically a 3G network. There’s a gallery of unboxing photos at TmoNews and Engadget just posted a quick video preview of the device.
