HTC has already updated the HTC Desire HD and the HTC Incredible S to Android 2.3 and the official Gingerbread ROM for the HTC Desire has been leaked. As far as the T-Mobile G2 is concerned — the US carrier’s Desire Z — we’ve already seen a leaked test ROM but now our favorite leaksters published the official Gingerbread ROM leak.

The file name is PC10IMG_Vision_Gingerbread_S_TMOUS_2.13.531.8_Radio_12.52.60.25_26.08.04.30_M3_release_ 188635_signed from where we see that this is a new version 2.13.531.8 instead of the old, leaked 2.13.531.5. The Radio appears to be one of a higher version number too so our biggest guess is that this is a final ROM most of you G2 owners will be notified of very soon. Meanwhile, let the community do its thing as always, with leaked ROMs.
