The newly released T-Mobile G2 gets rooted temporarily, according to a new hack from XDA-Developers. Android tinkerers are reporting that the device is rooted, but the rooting magic disappears when you reboot the Android smartphone. You can go to XDA-Developers for the full instructions, but in the meantime, if you need to have the powers of a rooted device, be sure not to restart your G2 else you’ll have to go through the process all over again. Hopefully, a more permanent solution will emerge soon.
