Last night in New York City T-Mobile threw a pretty nice launch party for the new “T-Mobile G2x with Google by LG” phone as well as the G-Slate Honeycomb Android tablet. We got to meet up with Stephanie Duchaine, also known as the LG Girl, and were able to convince her to make an appearance on our own Pocketnow YouTube channel. You’ll see her demonstrate some of the cool things that come with the G2x. Yes, it is a vanilla version of Android, but naturally T-Mobile bundles a few goodies with it.
The first 25 buyers of a T-Mobile G2X and G-Slate at the T-Mobile Herald Square location (34th and 6th) were also lucky enough to attend this event where T-Mobile had some free food as well as demo kiosks of the G-Slate and G2x’s Zinio magazine reading capabilities and 3D gaming with output to HDMI. DJ Chachi spun some tunes throughout the event, and at one point Dev and The Cataracs performed a few songs, included the hit “Like a G6″.

What about Carly Foulkes, the T-Mobile spokes model you ask? It turns out she’s not really a T-Mobile MyTouch 4G she’s a real person.
