Last week we told you that the T-Mobile G2 is nearing its “end-of-life” status according to a leaked document that listed the good old smartphone with the EOL note.

What we didn’t know was that Magenta actually discontinued the smartphone, silently, one day prior to us bringing you the news that it might. According to the image above, the T-Mobile G2 has been discontinued since June 6, 2011. You might be able to find a couple of handsets still in stock but don’t expect any items to freshen up stocks anymore. Question is, will the T-Mobile G2 ever get its Gingerbread treat?
