Having already sold both previous Galaxy S handsets from Samsung (as the QWERTY-equipped Epic 4G and keyboard-less Epic 4G Touch), it’s no surprise that Sprint will also be stocking the third iteration of this popular device, the Galaxy S III. Thanks to the device’s user agent profile, we’ve been able to gather a few of the important details on the next Galaxy to hit the Now Network.

As you’d expect, most of the specs on the LTE-capable SPH-L710 are identical to those on the global version (GT-I9300), with one significant exception: like the Galaxy S III destined for Verizon, Sprint’s variant will also be powered by Qualcomm’s dual-core Snapdragon S4 MSM8960. While a very capable chip in its own right, the 8960 is probably not quite as powerful as Samsung’s own quad-core Exynos 4, the SoC with which the SGS3 launched.

One final feature of note: the storage capacity is listed here as 16GB, the lowest of the available options (with the others being 32GB and, soon, 64GB as well). The Sprint Galaxy S III, running Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, does maintain a 64GB-capable microSD slot, however.
