Motorola announced the Photon 4G for Sprint — together with the Triumph on Virgin Mobile — at the beginning of last month but there was no official word on pricing nor availability at that time.

According to the screenshot above, the Photon 4G is now wearing a “Coming Soon” label. While this is in no way a confirmation of a release date, it’s definitely good to know that we’re getting closer. The Photon 4G features a 4.3-inch qHD display, resolution a la Atrix, dual-core Tegra 2 processor, 1GB of RAM, GSM-capable radio in addition to Sprint’s CDMA and WiMAX as well as Android 2.3 Gingerbread on-board.
