Sprint’s upcoming Motorola Admiral has first appeared around a month or so ago when it was pictured as the carrier’s upcoming Direct Connect-compatible device. It was filmed a week later — video has been since removed — and the phone is now, once again, showing it’s QWERTY keyboard to the camera.
With it’s tapered design, getting thinner towards the bottom, the Admiral is expected to pack a 1.2GHz Qualcomm processor with a single core, 3.1-inch VGA display, a five-megapixel main camera with 720p HD video recording capability, and a 1,860mAh battery. It should run Android 2.3 Gingerbread and sport a four-row QWERTY keyboard to go with its touch screen. The release has not yet been announced but we expect it to be any time now.
