Sprint announced the Samsung-made Google Nexus S 4G one month ago and Best Buy had the smartphone — pretty much like the Nexus S sans 4G — on pre-order since day one. Now the smartphone is available to purchase for $199.99 with a new 2-year contract but unfortunately no shipping date yet.
The Samsung Nexus S 4G is basically your typical Nexus S with WiMAX support. The rest is the same: 1GHz Samsung processor, four-inch SuperAMOLED contour display, 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot capability (supporting up to six Wi-Fi enabled devices simultaneously), 512MB ROM, 16GB internal storage, five-megapixel rear-facing camera, VGA front-facing webcam, WiFi b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, NFC and 1500mAh battery, all running on Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
