Users of the Samsung-made Google Nexus S 4G on Sprint have been waiting for the official ROM update for quite a while now. There were initial rumors about it going live on July 11 with Android 2.3.5 on-board but it got later delayed to July 18. Needless to say July 18 didn’t bring it either but it appears that the file is now live on the Google servers.
Aside from the latest version of Android, 2.3.5 Gingerbread, the update GRJ90 should bring 4G fixes, tweaks, and full support for the smartphone’s secure NFC transceiver. Following the source link will allow you to download the file for a manual install but if you don’t feel like doing it yourself, the OTA update notification should hit your phone soon.
