Yesterday we mentioned the Sprint EVO 3D arriving for early orders and that it already received its first ever update but it looks like it will need another update soon to fix what the first update seems to have broken.

The shortcut for the dialer seems to have vanished from the lock screen and so it did from the list of applications. There’s really no way of putting it back, neither by changing scenes nor rearranging the icons. The only workaround for the moment is to make a hard reset which will make it reappear so if you’ve got an EVO 3D and you applied its first update, check for the dialer shortcut before setting up your smartphone; you might need a hard reset.
