The HTC EVO 3D is finally coming to Sprint on June 24 after it was announced back in March and many were disappointed that the 3D smartphone didn’t have a kickstand for comfy three-dimensional hands-free viewing. The desktop dock which just appeared over at Best Buy might be the solution to this and some more.
Wearing a “coming soon” label, the HTC EVO 3D desktop dock will cost you $49.99 but it will hold your smartphone in a desktop angled manner allowing you to watch movies and pictures. It will also charge your smartphone while at it and it also uses the EVO 3D’s MHL adaptor that doubles as a microUSB and a microHDMI connector for charging and video output at the same time (ane some syncing too). Expect it to be available around the time the smartphone itself shows up on Sprint’s shelves.
