Forum member dshoem01 on Sprint’s community forums has promised that the carrier will be releasing an update to the Sprint Epic 4G that will be coming tomorrow, September 30th, and will be rolled out over the air over four days. The firmware update should fix the slow upload speeds that Epic 4G owners have been experiencing, which caps their uploads to a measly 150 kbps on Sprint’s 3G network. According to the forum post, “Good news – an update will be released tomorrow 9/30. It will be rolled out over a 4 day period so not everyone will get it on day 1. I will have the standard MR information (fixes included, rollout schedule, etc) available tomorrow morning and will post it in a new featured thread.”
