On June 9, both the CEO of Sprint and Motorola will be holding an event to show “Sprint and Motorola’s latest collaborations” in New York. Having both CEOs in attendance means that the event will be a huge deal for both companies. What could this be about? Well, just today we posted about an upcoming Motorola phone on Sprint called the Photon 4G, and we’ll bet our money that the event will unveil this particular smartphone. The Photon 4G is likely to sport a 4.3″ qHD 960×540 display, powered by a Tegra 2 dual-core CPU, and probably 1GB of RAM. It’ll also run on Sprint’s 4G WiMax network. In essence, it’ll be a Verizon Droid X2, but for Sprint.
