There is no shortage of leaks, reports, speculation and rumors when it comes to Samsung’s next Android device, believed to be the Galaxy S III, which should make the South Korean manufacturer happy, with all the buzz and anticipation. However, these rumors and reports seem to be contradicting each other, at least those which are talking about the specs of the upcoming phone.
According to some, the next Galaxy S will be just a small upgrade over the S II. However, recent reports citing a “source close to the company” confirm the May 3 event in London for the Galaxy S III and the fact that it will pack a quad-core processor, at least in the global variant of the phone. “Expect superlative benchmark performance” is the wording allegedly used. Whether it is going to be the same quad-core Exynos processor which is powering the Meizu MX or another one is yet unknown. We hope to find out more in the next two weeks.
