What happens when you take the Xperia Neo and add a slide-out keyboard? You get the Xperia Pro, of course! It’s sporting the same 3.7″ 854×480 as the Neo, plus the same 1GHz Snapdragon CPU. On the back there is an 8MP on the shooter with a 2MP on the front. All this comes together on Android 2.3.
At MWC we got a chance to go hands-on with the Xperia Pro. Its slide-out QWERTY keyboard is good, except for the exceptionally small key travel in the keyboard, which some of you might find not appealing. We liked the way the slide-out mechanism feels, spring-assisted of course, to offer a very smooth movement.
The smartphone’s built quality is good and, together with the Arc and the Neo, this too features the same Exmor technology for improving image quality in low-light as well as the Bravia engine for improving the images, colors and contrast on what’s displayed on the screen.
